Podebrady Spa

Journeying to the quaint Podebrady Spa, I found myself amidst a town that held a distinct charm, even if not etched deeply in my memory. The visit, somewhat veiled by the gentle rain, offered a unique perspective, especially when capturing the Podebrady Castle from the opposite bank. The raindrops, though present, remained subtle, adding a touch of mystique to the historical silhouette against the overcast sky.

Radun chateau

Recently I went out for a trip and decided to visit Radun chateau. To be honest I have never heard of it, however, having seen few pictures I drove 160 km to visit it and took few pictures. Unfortunately I was not lucky that day as I forgot spare battery for camera in the power at home. Thus few following pictures were taken with dying battery and no visit of interior was made.

Short visit of Prague after the dark

A fleeting visit to Prague unfolded after the sun had set, casting its famous landmarks in a different light. While initially disappointed by the late arrival, I soon discovered the unique charm of Prague after dark. Determined to capture the essence of the city, I set up my tripod and framed shots of iconic landmarks, including the majestic Powder Tower.

Cathedral of St Peter and Paul Brno

In the bustling rhythm of daily life, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Brno has stood as a silent sentinel, an enduring symbol of grace and grandeur. I pass by this majestic cathedral almost daily, its spires reaching for the heavens, its presence a constant reminder of the city's rich history. Yet, it was only recently that I chanced upon the perfect angle to capture its full beauty, unobscured by tram wires, road signs, and other distractions.

Castle Ruins, Sirotci hradek, Klentice

A fortnight ago, I found myself gifted with a knee brace, an unexpected aid that transformed my gait from a hobble to a graceful stride. Working at a desk all day can take its toll on one's joints, and I welcomed the opportunity to rejuvenate through movement. So, I decided to venture beyond Brno, immersing myself in the lush landscapes of the South Moravian region, specifically setting my sights on the enchanting Castle Ruins of Sirotci hradek in Klentice.

Tree alley in the park and narrow lane

There exist numerous parks worldwide, and Brno boasts its fair share of such serene spaces. This particular park, I stumbled upon serendipitously, captivated me with its quaint charm. A slender pathway meanders through the heart of the park, flanked by a graceful tree-lined alley overhead. The juxtaposition of this verdant haven against the backdrop of bustling roads and convenient parking spaces lends the park a unique character.
