Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul

Spilberk and Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul

Spilberk and Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul. If there is beautiful weather I like going out for a walk even to the well-known places I see almost every day. This time I visited Spilberk castle again and decided to walk down from the Castle towards the Cathedral. I walked down the alley most people use and stopped at few points to take pictures.

Spilberk Castle and Petrov at night

One late evening I went out to Spilberk castle and was amazed by numerous shadows, corners and shapes. One of the most interesting views was on the stony path with tree alley above to the castle gate at night alighted by lanterns. Even though I have used tripod I was not able to take sharp pictures of people passing by. They are little bit blurry. At least movement is emphasized. Turning backwards I have discovered another nice view.

Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul

I do really like night view of this cathedral. To take such a photo you need an appropriate angle, no tram wires, no cars, etc.  Everyone tries to take a picture from the front, however, it can be either difficult or almost impossible. If I pass the cathedral and continue to the Spielberg Castle there are better opportunities to take better pictures, of course, rearview. In the end, they are attractive to me as well.
