In the gentle landscapes of southern Moravia, near the ponds and meadows of Jaroslavice, life unfolds in quiet harmony. Morning light glimmers on the still surface of the water, and soft rustling rises from the reeds — the sound of countless wings and calls that shape the rhythm of the place.
Nestled in the heart of Klatovy, the charming Czech town, lies the serene Mercandinovy sady or park. Positioned near the boat rental point, this idyllic retreat beckons nature enthusiasts and photography aficionados alike. The park, with its winding paths and lush greenery, provides the perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of local wildlife, particularly the delightful ducks that inhabit the nearby Volyňka River.
Venturing into nature with a plan in mind, I embarked on a photography expedition armed with my trusty APS-C camera and telephoto lens. The allure of capturing wild animals in their natural habitat drew me to a serene forest park, where the only willing models happened to be the graceful deer. Although my initial uncertainty lingered about the impact of higher ISO values on picture quality, I was determined to put my gear to the test.
