From time to time I travel out of Brno, somewhere to take some pictures. One day a friend of mi ne invited me to visit her in Prague. When I arrived she wanted me to show me few of her favourite places, cemetery at Vysehrad and the views out of there. I really liked the scenery so the pictures of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and River Vltava can be found here.
Marian Valley - is a large area located on the eastern outskirts of Brno, near the district Brno - Líšeň. It is a part of the Říčky valley, which stretches from the cottage settlements Lhotka up to the village Podolí. Marian Valley is a very popular destination for people from Brno and villages nearby to spend their fee time. For photographers it offers motives to take interesting pictures.
Water Castle Svihov - stone castle situated in the town of the same name near Klatovy. The castle is surrounded by water. In the medieval times it functioned as a protection against the enemies. Now it seems to be more or less attraction for tourists... Anyway the nature around the city itself is beautiful and those who admire old castles and history would find this place interesting.
It happens from time to time, that photographer loses motivation in creativity and has no idea what or who to shoot. Sometimes, just going out for hunting is a good method, in my opinion, to train creativity and find some motives that can be processed later on. Nature offers number of motives, but going too far is not sometimes efficient.
Road and trees with the dashed line in the middle seemed interesting to me. And those shadows. it is not magic but reminds me nice afternoon on the way home...
During a short visit of my native city Klatovy I have made a trip to a nearby village Rabí to see the ruined castle of the same name. Even though the weather was not ideal and the sky was flat, no clouds, just fog, appearing from time to time, some pictures are really beautiful. To get better ones I need to plan way back and gat pictures with much better sky to see beauty of the castle and village itself.
